Tohono O' Odham Made Rattles by E. E.

Tohono O' Odham were referred to as the Papago by the white man. Papago stands for the bean people as they mostly grew beans. About 30 years ago, they officially made it known that they were always Tohono O? Odham, and take offense to being called Papago. They are also known for the ancient custom of making jelly, wine, and other things from the saguaro fruit. Some still practice this old art, but it is really dying out.
