This represents the view of the stronghold in the dragoon mountains in Arizona. The blue turquoise represents the blue sky, the diagonal patterns represent the granite layers in mountain walls, the coral and turquoise stones represent the reflections of light from the obsidian peaks. The medicine wheel represents the center of the universe.

The medicine wheel represents the ultimate goal of living in a way that contributes to life, while walking in beauty, therefore balanced.

The diamonds represent the residual gifts from living in balance.

The mountain range represents the Dragoon Mountains (Cochise stronghold).

The sun with chrome pyrope garnet represents Gods nurturing along with life giving rain from clouds.

The Eagle is a direct messenger from God, and is showing his approval for the actions of the couple.The triangular diamond bale top represents the unity of man, women and God.

The pyrope briolette dangle represents two hearts beating as one.

This scene depicts the dreams of summer,that we all anxiously await during the cold winter weather. The long hours of Sunlight, the warm breezes that gently blow over our crops, and the cool water that refreshes us. These are my thoughts on those long cold nights.

Women in Native American Culture are revered and honored for without them the culture would not live on.White Painted Woman lives an endless cycle of childhood, maidenhood, midlife and maturity. When she becomes elderly, she prays to the east, the direction of the rising sun and she sees her young self in the distance, when the two meet they join and changing woman is reborn. It is this rebirth that is celebrated when she becomes of age and has given special healing powers along with her natural spirit as a woman to continue the culture that is celebrated in the ceremony of the Sunrise Dance. She is renewed, the mother of our people.
